APPROVAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES OF MARCH 4, 2015.

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD. (not to exceed a total of 15 minutes)

Each member of the audience may address the Commission on any subject within the Commission’s business. Each member of the audience and each subject is limited to discussion of three minutes or as otherwise directed by the Chair.

CONSENT CALENDAR. The consent calendar is approved with one motion. These items are read only on request of Commission members. Should anyone, including members of the public, wish to discuss or disapprove any item, it must be dropped from the blanket motion and considered as a separate item.

1)         HANCOCK TERRACE PERMIT AMENDMENT AT 530 EAST BOONE STREET. Review of an Amendment request (A2015-0003) by Hancock Terrace Apartments to extend the expiration date of a Downtown Specific Plan Development Review Permit (DSPDR2012-0001) to allow the construction of 266 market rate apartment units on a 9.5 acre site in the Railroad Loft District of the Downtown Specific Plan.

 

2)         RITE AID PERMIT AMENDMENT AT 804 NORTH BROADWAY. Review of an Amendment request (A2015-0001) by Rite Aid for an extension of time to previously approved Planned Development Permit (PD2006-026) on a 1.8 acre site in the PD/C-2 (Planned Development/General Commercial) zoning district.

 

3)         MERCY CHURCH CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AT 2601 SKYWAY DRIVE. Review of a Conditional Use Permit application (U2015-0004) for Mercy Church to allow for a church on a 0.22 acre site in the PD/M-1 (Planned Development/Light Manufacturing) zoning district.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION: By motion, approve the consent calendar.

4)       VEGETABLE GROWER'S SUPPLY CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AT 220 KATHLEEN COURT. Review of a Conditional Use Permit (U2014-0035) to allow construction of a screened outdoor storage yard for Vegetable Growers Supply located on a 1 acre portion of a 3.6 acre parcel located in a PD/CM (Planned Development/Commercial Manufacturing) zoning district (West Main Specific Plan).

STAFF RECOMMENDATION: By motion, continue the item to April 15, 2015.

5)       UPDATE ON AMENDMENTS TO THE DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN, ENTRADA SPECIFIC PLAN AND THE ZONING ORDINANCE.
