APPROVAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 7, 2018.

CONSENT CALENDAR. The consent calendar is approved with one motion. These items are read only on request of Commission members. Should anyone, including members of the public, wish to discuss or disapprove any item, it must be dropped from the blanket motion and considered as a separate item.

1.               HALSELL TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP AT 1501 EAST ALVIN AVENUE (TRACT 6013). Review of a Tentative Parcel Map (TR2017-0001) for Halsell Builders to subdivide a 1.5 acre parcel into 4 lots in a R-1 (Single-Family Residential) district.

RECOMMENDATION: That the Planning Commission, by resolution, approve Tentative Parcel Map TR2017-0001.

2.               BAY AVENUE TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP AT 1230 EAST DONOVAN ROAD. Review of a Tentative Parcel Map (TR2017-0003) for Adriana Kuhnle to subdivide a 0.6 acre site into three residential lots in a R-1 (Single Family Residential) district.

RECOMMENDATION: That the Planning Commission, by resolution, approve Tentative Parcel Map TR2017-0003.

3.               CRUCIFIED LIFE CHURCH PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT AT 1764 SOUTH BROADWAY. Review of a Planned Development Permit (PD2017-0017) for Crucified Life Church to allow the construction of an 11,700-square-foot building on a 0.6 acre site in a PD/C-2 (Planned Development/General Commercial) district of the Entrada Specific Plan.

RECOMMENDATION: That the Planning Commission, by motion, approve Planned Development Permit PD2017-0017.

4.               GREAT AMERICAN SELF-STORAGE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT AT 1265 WEST BETTERAVIA ROAD. Review of a Planned Development Permit (PD2017-0019) for Great American Self-Storage to construct a self-storage facility with recreational vehicle storage on a 7.4 acre site in a PD/CM (Planned Development/Commercial Manufacturing) district.

RECOMMENDATION: That the Planning Commission, by motion, approve Planned Development Permit PD2017-0019.

5.               CCLI SELF STORAGE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT 1400 BLOCK OF WEST BETTERAVIA ROAD. Review of a Planned Development Permit (PD2017-0016) for Central Coast Land Investment to construct a 134,000-square-foot mini-warehouse facility on a 3.6 acre site in a PD/CM (Planned Development/Commercial Manufacturing) district.

RECOMMENDATION: That the Planning Commission, by motion, approve Planned Development Permit PD2017-0016.

6.               NEWLOVE EAST APARTMENTS CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AT 575 EAST NEWLOVE DRIVE. Review of a Conditional Use Permit (U2016-0016) for John D. Humann to build 16 apartments in four buildings on a 1.4 acre site in a R-2 (Medium Density Residential) district.

RECOMMENDATION: That the Planning Commission, by motion, approve Conditional Use Permit U2016-0016.

OTHER BUSINESS.

 

7.               2017 GENERAL PLAN ANNUAL REPORT. Review of the General Plan Annual Report on the status of the General Plan and progress in its implementation for the 2017 calendar year. 

RECOMMENDATION: That the Planning Commission, by motion, recommend that City Council receive the 2017 General Plan Annual Report.

 

8.               ORAL REPORTS FROM PLANNING COMMISSION AND STAFF.
