This agenda is prepared and posted pursuant to the requirements of Government Code Section 54954.2. By listing a topic on this agenda, the Planning Commission has expressed its intent to discuss and act on each item. In addition to any action identified in the brief general description of each item, the action that may be taken shall include: a referral to staff with specific requests for information; continuance; specific direction to staff concerning the policy or mission of the item; discontinuance of consideration; adoption, approval or disapproval or recommendation thereof.

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

1.                  CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR MEDINAíS TIRES, 600 WEST MAIN STREET, U-2012-0025, E-2012-0030. Review of a Conditional Use Permit to allow the establishment of a tire service and repair shop at 600 West Main Street located in a PD/C-2 (Planned Development/General Commercial) zoning district, Assessorís Parcel No. 123-031-007. The project qualifies for a Class 1 categorical exemption. No further environmental review is required. (Project Planner: Neda Zayer)

2.                  PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR AN EXPANSION OF THE CROSSROADS SHOPPING CENTER, BRADLEY ROAD SOUTH OF BETTERAVIA ROAD, PD-2012-0001, E-2012-0004. Review of a Planned Development Permit to allow the construction of an expansion of the Crossroads Shopping Center, including three new buildings totaling approximately 27,700 square feet, and two architecturally designed sign towers 25 feet in height, on the existing 47.75 acre project site in a PD/C-2 (Planned Development/ General Commercial) zoning district, Assessorís Parcel Nos. 128-136-032, -007; 128-137-001, -012, -060. The project is reviewed under an Addendum E-2012-0004, to the Final EIR E-95-68. (Project Planner: Neda Zayer)

Review of a request to amend a Planned Development Permit for the Crossroads Commercial Center to remove a freeway sign tower, located on Bradley Road south of Betteravia Road in a PD/C-2 (Planned Development/General Commercial) zoning district, Assessorís Parcel Nos. 128-136-032, -007; 128-137-001, -012, -060. The project was reviewed under Final EIR E-95-68. No further environmental review is required. (Project Planner: Neda Zayer)
