PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR SANTA
MARIA VILLAGE SENIOR APARTMENTS, 450 AND 460 WEST STOWELL ROAD,
PD-2008-001, E-2008-001. Review of a request for an extension of time for a Planned
Development Permit to allow the construction of a 54,224 square foot, 2-story
independent living senior housing development with 60 dwelling units, on a 1.85
acre property, in a PD/R-3 (Planned Development/High Density Residential)
zoning district, Assessor's Parcel No. 117-250-023. (Project Planner:
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: By motion, approve the extension of time for one year to September 18, 2013.
b.†††††††† ONE YEAR EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF SANTA MARIA, 1550 SOUTH COLLEGE DRIVE, PD-2007-006, E-2006-072. Review of a request for an extension of time for a Planned Development Permit to allow amendments to a previously approved Master Plan on a 15.75 acre site located in the PD/PF (Planned Development/Public Facilities) zoning district, Assessorís Parcel No. 128-174-003. The amended Master Plan would allow phased development of up to 117,856 square feet on the First Christian Church site, including:
∑ a 21,000-square-foot fellowship hall (existing),
∑ an 18,400-square-foot education building (existing),
∑ a 47,123-square-foot sanctuary,
∑ a 7,000-square-foot caretaker/parsonage/maintenance building,
∑ an 18,017-square-foot administration building,
∑ a 6,314-square-foot chapel, and

STAFF RECOMMENDATION: By motion, approve the extension of time for one year to September 5, 2013.
EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR THE SIENA APARTMENTS LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST
CORNER OF BLOSSER ROAD AND SONYA LANE, PD-2010-003, E-2010-013. Review of a request for an extension of time for a Planned
Development Permit to allow the construction of 211 apartments, including a
community center, pool, spa, play equipment and landscaped open space, in a
PD/R-3 (Planned Development/ High Density Residential, 211 dwelling units
maximum) zoning district, various Assessor Parcel Numbers. The environmental impacts of the Siena Apartments
have been adequately addressed in a Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR),
E-88-10, and the Supplement to the EIR, E-2003-022, (SCH#90010930) for the City

CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR
WATER TECH AG SUPPLY, 222 NORTH BLOSSER ROAD, U-2012-0009, E-2012-0010. †Review of a Conditional Use Permit to allow
the establishment of outdoor storage for an agricultural supply business
located in a CM (Commercial Manufacturing) zoning district, Assessorís Parcel
No. 119-201-009. The project qualifies for a Class 1 categorical exemption. No
further environmental review is required. (Project Planner:
